The Governance of Britain consultation: Hansard Society response
The Hansard Society welcomes the Government's Green Paper on constitutional reform, The Governance of Britain, which aims ‘to forge a new relationship between the government and citizen, and begin the journey towards a new constitutional settlement - a settlement that entrusts Parliament and the people with more power.' In our response to the Green Paper, we put forward our views on how these ambitious and important aims can be realised, referring to findings and recommendations from Hansard Society research, reports and commissions.
