The Hansard Society has organised
a series of meetings on the subject of Democratic Renewal with representatives
of the three main political parties.
The first meeting - with Nick
Clegg MP - takes place Thursday April 27, 12.30 -1.30
in Parliament
Subsequent meetings in this
series are:
- Tuesday, May 2 - Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke, QC,
MP,
- Tuesday May 16 - Rt Hon the Lord Falconer of Thoroton QC
Each speaker will clarify their
party's position on:
- The relationship between political
institutions and the public
- The future of political parties and the party
system
- The future of Parliament
