Tuesday September 19, 6.15pm
Ashdown Suite, Holiday Inn
Speakers: Baroness Shirley Williams
Nick Clegg MP
Lembit Opik MP

Chair: Clare Ettinghausen, Hansard Society

How can politicians communicate with the public and how can the public communicate with them? Is there a danger of innovative communication methods taking politics away from consultation and debate towards flashy new technology? Are politicians any good at using modern communication?

Star names from the Liberal Democrats will be debating these points at a "non-geeky" fringe meeting on modern communications tomorrow in Brighton.
