No Politics Please...We're Women!
The Hansard Society is hosting a Women & the Vote event on Tuesday 14 October at 6.30pm in the House of Commons entitled 'No Politics Please...We're Women''. The purpose of this event is to discuss issues around women's interest and involvement in politics. The event will launch a new briefing based on original Hansard Society research about women's attitudes to politics.
This event is part of the Women and the Vote 2008 campaign, a coalition of civil society organisations, including the Hansard Society, that have come together to mark the 80th and 90th anniversaries of women's suffrage in Britain. The aim is to put the issue of women in politics back at the top of the political agenda.
